My thanks to the Border Terrier Club for their invitation to judge their championship show, and to the officials and club members who extended their warm support, helping to make the day memorable for me. As an American club member, this was a great honor.
My entry had more than just a handful of Border Terriers that I would have gladly taken home. The overall quality of the entry was excellent. There were few bad bites. Most of the entries were of a proper size, and there were many good-coated Borders with proper hides to be found. Movement in general was improved since last I judged the breed here.
